Image via WikipediaSomewhere in my reading the last couple of days, I came across a Stanley Hauerwas quote. It went something like this....I don't like the word "community" for a church. "Community" seems to imply that we like each other. But a "Church" isn't a place where people "like" each other. It's a place where people love each other, whether or not they love them.
This has had me thinking.
